Come and celebrate the New Year with the Cairns Blues Festival at Machans Beach Community Hall.
This has become and institution over recent years and is not to be missed!

Carinda Christie
Carinda Christie's act is all acoustic. She sings, plays acoustic guitar, Dobro Slide guitar and stomp box, and lights up the show with humorous and entertaining anecdotes about life and music. Her repertoire of diverse energetic originals, leaning towards a folk, pop, rock and blues combination, appeals to audiences of all ages.
Dan's Blues Explosion
Well known Cairns drummer Dan Solowiej of Johnnos Blues bar fame has put a rockin blues band together that will rattle the walls of the old hall!! Drums, piano and guitar and who knows what other instruments or musicians, plus the gravelly blues that only Dan can deliver. This is going to be some night!
The Barron Brothers
Local lads Dan, John and Matt will start off the night with some old favourites just to get your toes a tappin and the room a shakin'. These guys know how to get the party started, so make sure you get in early for a decent dose of NYE fun as only can happen at Machans Beach.
